County schools get 16 new buses | Local News
The Jones County School District now has 16 new buses in its fleet, which is expected to help with the reliability and safety of the 6,000 students who ride them to school each day.
“We had some buses that were 25 years old,” said Terry Graham, longtime transportation director for the district. “Every day, we were dealing with three or four breakdowns.”
